since two weeks ago was the unsc weapons reveal, I’m thinking that the covenant weapons will be this week. so I was thinking, what do you think we will see in the covie weapons list? I’m really hoping that they reveal the Needle Rifle(since we have the dmr, logic would dictate that the needle rifle would be back also(because the carbine can’t compete with the dmr)), the TU needle rifle is so awesome it would be a shame if it wasn’t in halo 4. I’m also thinking that we will be seeing the Concussion rifle revealed as well(the likeliness is pretty high). I really hope that they also clear up the business regarding the beam and focus rifles(I don’t trust toys, I would rather have confirmation from 343i). I don’t know what’s going on with the plasma launcher, although I wouldn’t be too surprised if it did make a come back. With the railgun as well, I’m thinking that we will be seeing a brand new covenant powerweapon, perhaps maybe(this is my idea) a burst needle weapon. It could have a single round that fires a three round burst of needle projectiles, they would go right through shield’s and each would do a small supercombine explosion, if all three hit, they would kill you instantly in a massive supercombine explosion(please feel free to fear the pink mist).
these are just my thoughts and opinions, what do you think in regards to the covenant weapons?
All I’m hoping to see from the Covenant weapons reveal is the Needle Rifle. Everything else has been more or less confirmed. The NR, like you said, was a good weapon. It wasn’t as good as the DMR in most cases, but when a crowd was in a KoTH area, it was wonderful for cleaning up.

I found that the Title Update needle rifle is actually better than the DMR in mid range combat since the bloom is very minimal when compared to the dmr.
I think this week’s update will be about the music and/or audio of Halo 4 based on last week’s bulletin ending with something like “I hope to see you next week when the bulletin should be music to your ears”…or something along those lines.
Did you read my OP? I said that i don’t trust toys, I would rather hear it from 343i that the beam rifle is confirmed. it could easily have been misprinted that the beam rifle is back(They may have meant to say focus rifle instead, which has happened).

OK, then it’s either the Beam Rifle or Focus Rifle then.

i would like to see the Plasma rifle back as well, it looks and sounds way better than the storm rifle IMO. As for brute weapons, i doubt that any are coming back other than the gravity hammer. the Brute shot isn’t likely to ever return, the concussion rifle is more likely to come back.

i think we all know that already, that doesn’t mean that we cant miss the beloved plasma rifle and wish that it had made the cut instead of the POS AR copy called the storm rifle.
The Storm Rifle is a bizarre weapon, I still have no idea why it’s warranted. The Plasma Rifle is a classic Halo weapon, its a shame it got bumped out by a weapon that looks so uninspired and dull.
For me the Plasma Pistol and Plasma Rifle are a pair of weapons that compliment each other, its weird that we only have the PP and no PR in H4.

I’m going to boycott that stupid storm rifle in memory of the plasma rifle.
