I went to a couple of Halloween stores on Saturday and found an energy sword prop and a Needler. I shopped around and found each of them for 16.99, but was able to find 20% off coupons for them. Have any of you seen these? They are pretty cool, I bought the needler, it’s a pretty good size, but it looks a little cheap. I’m thinking about doing some modifications to it and repainting it will make it look a lot better, but they are great props for the price. I plan on picking up the energy sword on Friday, it would look really cool hanging on the wall behind my Master Chief Statue.
The BoomCo products are pretty nice for what they are. Great toys overall, but they aren’t slouches when it comes to prop use. I have considered getting the Magnum blaster for some time.

Is it an actual toy, or is it like the BoomCo dart guns? I saw a few of the Halloween props at Wal-Mart the other day and they looked a bit cheap.

It’s closer to a toy than the BoomCo guns. The Needler is just pieces of molded plastic glued together, but they are a pretty good size and I think they will look great with a repaint and some detail work on them. I got one for like 13 bucks, and for that, it’s a cool shelf item.

I’ve wanted to get a couple of the BoomCo guns, they would be cool to customize I think.
