Do the Covenant still use their buildings like Citadels and its slot buildings? I have never once seen or heard of them outside of Halo Wars and Origins (and that was from a corrupted memory). I am just curious if they still serve a purpose outside of gameplay for HW and if you have heard or seen of them anywhere else. Thanks.
Thus far, I don’t remember seeing them anywhere but Origins and Halo Wars, but I think it is a safe bet that on former Covenant colonies they exist and are used.
Okay, thanks. But what do they use for bases then? Just their ships? That seems like it would defeat the purpose of having them in canon unless there is something I am missing. At least for the UNSC bases there was an explanation. On Halopedia I read that Stations were customized to the Spirit of Fire so it would make sense that they were not seen as much.
No the firebases are colony starters and the pods that drop them are attached to the spirit of fire.
The citadels are some of the Covenant buildings, there are several buildings. Some house troops, some vehicles.
