Will we have a Covenant weapon with double zoom and increased power? I hope that the light rirfle returns at least. The focus rifle was cool but it wasn’t as effective as the light rifle. Or will we have a new sniper to use.
Isn’t the Light Rifle the brand new mid-long-range Forerunner weapon?

I think I haven’t played Halo 3 for awhile and with all the new Halo 4 news I am getting the guns mixed up.

The Lightrifle is a standard rifle with Forerunner tech.
The Forerunner Sniper does have a name.
Most Covenant Weapons suck for some reason. The best things they have are the Sword, Hammer and Plasma Grenandes.
Beamer is confirmed. Also there is a human sniper and a forerunner one.
I get that I messed up on the rifle name, but what I want to know is will we have the beam rifle, focus rifle, or a new rifle for the Covenant sniper. Also the Covenant weapons are good you just need to know how and when to use them.

They’re bad for general purpose, but they have unique qualities.
For example:
The needler can penetrate shields which is useful when theres an engineer
The PP gan send out an emp burst
the plauncher is brilliant for locking on to unsuspecting enemies
plasma grenades don’t need explaining, they’re sticky and awesome
the sword has a lunge ability
the hammer is crap - granted
the focus rifle, although i don’t use it much, it can reveal camo users if you spread it out
they all have their own abilities
And that’s what I mean by how and when. Most people just run around thinking they are the best on the team when they die after they get two kills.
Beam Rifle is confirmed to be in Halo 4.
