I was thinking, how would the Covenant reproduce? Would there be female Covenant? Would they have secret Covenant -Yoink!- time? Clone themselves? How?
I think it’s pretty much confirmed that the Covenant reproduce just like we do. No clones.
Unggoy over-populate quickly
Kig-Yar have nests
Sangheili are male & female
Yanme’e are basically large bees, so they will have that same hive principle
San 'Shyuum have to be very careful with breeding due to their serious inbreeding issue when they first escaped their homeworld via the Dreadnought.
The rest is speculative, but here’s how I see it:
Lekgolo reproduce like worms, asexual.
Jiralhanae are male & female (eww.)
Elite -Yoink!- : “WORT WORT WORT!”
ya theres female sangheili watch halo legends
I’m sure all the Covenant species reproduce like humans. . . Except for Hunters, since they’re walking colonies of worms.

No
The sangheili are oviparous. They lay eggs but the sexual -Yoink!- is more or less like humans.
Kig-Yar females lay eggs. The males fertilise some of them. The ones that are fertilised will give male Kig-Yar, the others will give female Kig-Yar.
Yanme’e reproduce like bees. The queen lays the eggs.
As for the Unggoy, the Jiralhanae and the Mgalekgolo I agree with Avu.

I meant like sexual, not that exactly like humans. I should have worded it better.
