It’s a pretty tough fight. How much can the tank withstand the firepower? Melee on melee would be interesting.
Thanks for fixing the links. And yes it would be a very interesting fight, I wold sure like to see it.I don’t think the Tank Form would be able to ta take on the hunters gun though.

i dont think the flood has the ability to infect smaller things than itself, arent the hunters made up of worms, how do they have government and a brain ???
Yeah pretty much hunters.
Hunter, because it has a gun, while the Tank doesn’t.
First things first… hunters arent bound to there form the have in the game (or the form you incounter mostly, sinds they power Scarabs), so if there not bound to that form, my money is on the hunters.
if they are bound to the armor, my money is still on the hunters
Hunter wins, unless it faces a flood spore, than its hopeless (as seen in Halo CE)

Well each Mgalekgolo worm hooks it’s nervous system with the one next to it as I understand it. So it’s like a network of computers, with each added there is more processing power available. Pile a whole bunch of worms together and they effectively become one hybrid hive mind.

Easily the Hunter, here’s why:

Hunters have purpose built armour, they wear the metal covenant warships are made out of, while the flood can only wear what their victim wears.

Hunters are more than a hivemind. The flood’s gravemind is incredibly intelligent given it’s collection of brains however it is just that, a brain. The Hunter is a collection of worms that form everything, from muscle to the guns themselves. A Hunter has more control over itself then a flood form (gence the flood having limps etc)

Hunters cannot be infected by the flood, a simple matter but one that makes a massive difference considering flood infection forms become pointless

Hunters are comprised of thousands of worms meaning, while you can attack them and break some off of the cluster, they can still attack you. This means that even once a Hunter is killed, there are now thousands of worms to try and kill

But to answer your question, Hunter.
Here’s a little vid showcasing it
I think the hunter has more strength that a Flood thank form, the Infection forms had to infect each Galekgolo. And with the cannon they have on their hands can make more damage on a tank flood.
Hunter. The Tank would get dunked on easily by the use of superior technology and pure brute strength.
hunters would win in most situations for they have ranged weapons, they have heavy armor which is great for countering frontal melee attacks, they have heavy melee attack themselves, they cant be infected though if killed i believe flood can use their biomass… All that sort of stuff. It just gives hunters some edges over tank forms but flood overall is much more formidable foe.
Hunters, mainly on the account that they can not be infected and have superior firepower
