Who thinks that the same rouge Elites on halo 4 will have a major roll in halo five?
It seems the lore is gearing up for another all out war so I fully expect the storm to play a big part, I’m pretty sure we’ll be fighting insurrectionists as well but we’ll have to wait and see.

Well, unless Halo: Escalation kills them off, we have the Covenant Storm with Jul 'Mdama and Halsey to fight.

ah! yes! I think that would be awesome to have that in halo 5!
Halo: Escalation (the comic book series) is now in a story arc that’s basically the sequel to Spartan Ops, and I have a feeling a lot of loose ends will be tied. I don’t know if Jul 'Mdama will survive it, for instance.
Either way, the Covenant will definitely be an enemy in Halo 5. The Storm Covenant is one of many independent strands that want to finish the job on humanity or kill the Arbiter or whatever. We might even fight the Servants of the Abiding Truth since they’re big on Sanghelios and Sanghelios is a location in the Halo 5 campaign (Locke goes there to meet the Arbiter). Either way, there will be Covenant.
I just hope 343i go all out with the Prometheans this time. There were only three Prom enemy types in Halo 4, they were all great but 3 just isn’t enough. And there’s a lot of room for unique, creative enemies on that front. I want to see the Prometheans become as prominent an enemy as the Covenant.
I see what you are saying, but remember, there were three new species added to the covenant in halo 2. so, even though there were not to many in halo 4, they might add more in halo 5.
Hmmm, I wonder if Halsey is going to give Jul’s elites some updated BA armor as revenge. I would kill to have the elite minor design and ranger to be discarded in Halo 5, cuz they are fugly.
To be honest I am sick of fighting the Covenant. I want a new enemy to fight. At the very least if the Covenant are to be back as the enemy then I want them to be heavily modified by Forerunner technology.
Covenant weapons are confirmed in Halo 5, besides the Prophets’ Bane. That means Covenant are definitely in the game, and most likely Arbiter will be a character because we have his sword.
