Covenant does not equal elites

the San Shyuum were the purple of the covenant. plus frankie said that the covenant story isnt done.

If they appear throughout Halo 4 they’ll most likely be allies of the UNSC as in Halo 3 and after.

There is no such thing as the covenant anymore with the prophets’ reign lifted. There will probably be splinter cells that harbour resentment of humanity and strike back out at them. Also the brutes most certainly will start a war with humanity if they’ve any war fairing ships left. If not the brutes could get certain other races to supply them with technology required to do so. Their story is definitely not done.

P.S. The splinter factions would obviously include some elites with deep seated resentment of Humanity. Doesn’t mean the Arbiter and his followers won’t help aid humans.

Thats what i wanted everyone to understand.

You need to read some Glasslands.

Just saying.

Why should they read it? its a -Yoinking!- travesty to halo canon. Traviss admitted that she knew nothing of halo canon when she wrote it.

Yeah, but do you really think 343I would have allowed Glasslands to be published if it didn’t tie in with what they’re trying to do now?

Elites may not be part of the Covenant anymore, but many still harbor hatred toward humans, just as many humans hate the elites.

Also, I find it a bit far fetched that the Covenant is just gone. Sure High Charity was destroyed, the High Prophets killed, and the entire order thrown into disarray, but in due time couldn’t they pull their act together again? Another group of Prophets putting on the big hats, the brute’s blind faith creating an even more barbaric version of the Covenant, etc?

The humans, elites, and Covenant all have a lot of rebuilding to do, but I doubt the Covenant is just over and gone.

Been meaning to. Also can’t wait to read Primordium

Still I didn’t say the whole race of elites would aid humans, just maybe a few may.

I just want to know what the Hunters will be getting up to.

So you haven’t read it but you consider it bad? That actually makes no sense what so ever. Form your own opinion on something.

None of the former Covenant races need to be in Halo 4 whatsoever. God forbid 343 has to make an original enemy to fight.
