I like all the primary weapons. Each one has it’s advantages and disadvantages. Except the carbine. It takes like 9-10 shots to kill someone, and that’s only if you can keep a bead on your enemy for all the shots. I just feel like it is EXTREMELY under powered. No one I’ve been playing has been using it at all, everybody is either using the BR or DMR. I can’t be the only one who thinks it should be buffed, right?
It should either take one less shot to kill, or you should be able to shoot it as fast as you can pull the trigger. Thoughts?
The carbine is a great support weapon. Because of it’s quick firing rate, you can pepper your enemies with shots and cause their reticule to go up up and away!
Seriously though, if you want to use the carbine then tag along with a teammate and you’ll realise how it works.

I still manage to do fairly decent when I use it. Its fire rate is crazy, it feels like an automatic. I do agree that it’s underpowered but I feel that the fire rate usually makes up for it, and you’re able to get those 9 to 10 shots it takes to kill pretty quickly.
Maybe if it was one less shot to kill, it could compete with the others. It is seriously something 343 needs to look into, and that overpowered DMR too.
1 less shot to kill would be ideal…

i just wish its reticule was a little smaller if it was more accurate I feel like it would be able to beat the dmr more often than not at long range.
It takes 7 shots to kill with the Carbine, its firing speed, accuracy, make it one of the top weapons in the game, increasing its killing potential anymore would simply break the game.
Yeah, seconding the accuracy part. I still win most mid-range encounters with it since I’ll land most if not all of my shots, but it definitely needs some slight changes. Perhaps if it did just a bit more damage against shields and had a tighter reticule when scoped. Either way I just don’t want to feel like I’m accepting a handicap every time I use it in a loadout.
Well regardless I’m using the Carbine once I get the master commendation for the BR. I already mastered the DMR and I like the way the Carbine looks and feels the best.
