Does anyone else think that having more Covenant themed armors would be cool? Most of the armors in-game are of human design and origin. I like the armors based on previous games but some other designs come across as generic or plain. Maybe more armors based on elite, brute or even grunt designs would help in diversity of players?
Edit: This isn’t a priority for any part of Halo 5 or the next Halo but I’m just interested in the lore behind such armors, since it seems unlikely that ONI wouldn’t want to retrofit covenant gear.

Dynast is based off of Sangheili armour, as well as CQB, but other than that, I don’t exactly think Covenant-looking armour would look that great on Spartans.

Stalker is based on brute armor and Helioskrill and I like both. I agree that in their base forms many armors wouldn’t fit well with spartans, but Stalker for instance works well with quite a few other sets. I’m personally just not interested in any more variations of simple UNSC themes and think that more designs like Hellcat and Venator would be welcome.

Actually the Anubis armour is an co-op between elites and humans

I personally dislike the Stalker, I think it looks a bit silly, but I like the Helioskrill. I don’t really want any armour that doesn’t have a proper visor like Hellcat and Venator. I never understood why people liked Venator…
Or they could just add playable Elites and put in actual Sangheili armor…
Yea I think helloskrill looks ugly so… No thanks!

W/ Venator,a spartan looks like a 2-legged F-117…i happen to like that set,plus the stalker & hellcat.

No, you look like a walking air vent.

Actually Venator does show the visor, barely. I had it last week and I noticed I could view the visor color just under the slits when you close up on your spartan. Try a visor with different colors compared to your armor color. The default still seems to be white before you equip. It’s a nice little change I noticed to the armor since Halo 4, though I doubt other players will notice in-game outside of viewing it from just the right angle.
