Right under: Let’s talk a bit about the campaign mode. How different are the Prometheans when compared to the Covenant?
He states: Since the Covenant and Prometheans are working together, there can be a situation when you’re fighting a Covenant squad when all of a sudden a Promethean launcher shows up to turn the tide of battle.
I hope he means they will work together indirectly, like teaming up on the Cheif, and not like literally working together.
Uh, who are the Storm Covenant? Are they the guys who attack the Chief on the Forward Unto Dawn? Like some sort of rebel group that didn’t want the Covenant to die, so they started fighting? I’m confused, could you help me out, or clarify?

I’d give you the full run-down, but it involves information from an unreleased Halo book and thus considered leaked. They carry the same faith but believe one of their gods is on Requiem, ie the Didact.
The fact that they’d even reveal it pisses me off beyond any level I’ve ever experienced. It’s equivalent to if in Halo 2 Bungie told us about The Great Schism. It’s just. Goddamnit.

“This ‘covenant’ could be useful to me…”
This line from a CEA terminal is the first thing that came to mind…the more I watch the new details and look back at the terminals, the more they seem to line up
> <mark>Koala, that’s a little cold.</mark> And, if that’s true, it would make sense if they at least attempt to ally with each other.
No it’s perfectly valid. First we learned that Spartan Ops is set 6 MONTHS after Halo 4, they dropped the Promethean-Covenant alliance earlier and their ViDocs constantly leaked materials from the game’s script. Heck, Thursday War was leaked in almost it’s entirety on Amazon…not 343i’s fault but still it only makes things worse.
> Not everyone wants to know this.

I agree completely! They go on about how they want to keep things secret, mysterious and a surprise to us, to then come and spoil major plot points.
Honestly, Halo 4 looks amazing gameplay-wise and seems like it’s going to have a great story. But honestly, how are we supposed to enjoy a story if we know a lot of it beforehand?
I want things to be a surprise, damn it. 343 Industries is doing so many things so well with Halo 4, but the one thing they really do wrong is this, and it’s -Yoink!- off many fans… No, just…no…
Anyone take the time to consider these things were leaked or told on purpose to throw us off completely off or make us question what is going on story wise? I myself believe they wouldnt let big points of the story slip or things that are true leaks get spotted or told about before the game is released and we all get the real surprises ourselves. The Didact being in the story was a given, way to much pointed toward him in general even in the Anniversary Terminals to not assume one of the Didacts would be in the game, however I dont believe him to be the threat. 343i has generally been careful with the phrases, words, they use and what they say, they normally like to play mind games with us, make us ponder, and rethink things, I figure this is what has happened here and with the supposed script leaks.
> You know, I’m starting to regret asking that question…
It’s not your fault, it’s Frankie’s fault for giving a completely irrelevant answer to your question. Instead of telling us that they would team up, he could have contented himself with only answering the question.

That is unnecessary because it does more harm than good. They are still -Yoink!- off their fanbase fake or not.
