I saw earlier that the Storm Covenant thought the Didact was a god and teamed up with the prometheans. However, in the E3 demo, the elite is killed by a Forerunner weapon, most likely a Promethean.
They probably team up later on. However we did hear that the blue skinned prometheans are a different faction.
We don’t know when in the game they’ll team up, only that they eventually will.
Interesting…
Jeez I’ve answered this question like 5 times today.

Really? I haven’t seen anyone bring it up before. What did you say?
Seriously, let’s quit posting this.
That would make sense.
SPOILER
If you recall in Halo 3 (MISSION: FULL CIRCLE) when Guilty Spark goes rampant upon the realisation that the Chief was to destroy installation 04, he tries to kill the Chief and actually kills Sgt. Johnson, his ‘eye’ turns red. When he was of a ‘normal functioning state’ his eye was blue. That is probably reflective of the division/factions of Promethean warriors and their differences in terms of: rampancy (fighting against the Chief) and non-rampant (those who will assist the chief/didact) if that makes sense.

Spark probably didn’t go rampant, he just was following his defensive protocols. Any threat to a Halo must be eliminated.

I agree and disagree.
Spark was going rampant for sometime, its portrayed in the terminals. And yes, he was initiating his defensive protocols, but I think it was meant to lean more toward rampancy, with hindsight being employed of course.
