Anyone found a way to counter Johnson, 2 Jerome mechs and 10-15 squads of infantry with grenades at 5-6mins in? Other than fight fire with fire (scum with scum)?
Leader powers, depending on your leader, or try using snipers because they have the range advantage

Johnson can become a power supply farm in late game for teammates
Open with Flamers and Marines as UNSC
Scout if you’re banished and go from there.

Tried snipers, jackrabbits and flamers, none work too well, Jerome just melts them with his rockets, probably just have to try getting them out earlier, idk. As for leader powers the most you’ll have that early is a heal, maybe some form of crappy barrage, easily dodged, doesn’t do enough to cripple them, especially as they’ve got the johnson heal and Jerome both take heal leader power too.

People don’t seem to get just how good Johnson can be at support. Heal drone and T1 heal combined with 2 Jerome Mechs is VERY threatening.

Great support player and has a good early game leader.
I understand not as good as the top leaders but winning with him just makes it feel all the better…

really bro? why would you compare someone’s stats when the stat system was messed up completely with the glitches of way back when the game was still under Maintenace/being patched? and this post isn’t to attack anyone the dudes asking a fair question. nothing wrong with being reasonable and just helping the guy. send him a private message if your so bothered or just keep it to your self man - these forums need to stay positive so this game lives longer then the first did hopefully to a 3rd game
