I think they should make a counter if an enemy tries to preform an assassination on you for example in the middle of an assassination a button should pop up telling you to press it like a b y or x if you press it on time you preform a counter assassination.
Bad idea. The counter is to not get snuck up on. just go play Dead or Alive. Why should I get punished for you not paying attention?

I wasn’t being rude, I was just disagreeing with you…and I was serious; go play Dead or Alive. It’s a fun game. It has counters, but they just wouldn’t work in Halo. Sorry if you felt like I was picking on you. Didn’t you post the topic for discussion?
Edit: Also you didn’t answer. If I have an assassination chance because you didn’t read your radar, why should I be punished?

He never said that. He only stated that it would be a bad idea. If you don’t pay attention in the game, you’ll get assassinated.
Why would you do than a assassination anyway if you can easily hit your enemy in the back and he dies?

Assassinations are fun, they let you go “Stabby Stabby Stab Stab Stab!”
I think if you get caught like that you should die. The best anti assassination method is a good teammate with a shotty. Makes for “YES, THAT WAS AWESOME” moments.

It’s cool man, everyone has different opinions on stuff.
by counter assasinations, i think it should be “oh, crap, an opponent is coming to kill me while im stuck in this assasination animation, i think ill just cut it short and return to the action.” so you could just cut it short, instead of dying.
That sounds worse than sword block in terms of unfairly surviving death.
Also Quicktime Events don’t belong in Halo.
are you saying like the buttons a y x or b pops up at random for like a split second so you dont counter every time because thats what i mean
