343i, I tried changing my email on my Xbox Live account months ago because I deleted my old email address. However, I have found out today that I only changed the email I log in with and the contact email remained the same. Therefor, when you sent out the specialization codes, it was sent to a deleted email account.
Due to advice I saw on the forums (having seen someone say it was a Microsoft event and not one that 343i was in charge of), I waited an hour to talk to someone from xbox support (who was rude by the way), only to have him tell me that essentially it sucks to be me and I’m screwed out of the code because of how unclear it is changing an email address on my account on their site. He told me to come here and make a forum post about it (the exact same thing that sent me looking for him for advice in the first place).
So I need to know if there is any way I can have the code resent to me. It could be sent to the email I log in with, or even resent to the old email address which I have gone ahead and restarted just in the hopes that I could get it resent to me. I’m not asking for a new code, just send me the exact same code that you sent initially. This is just very disheartening news when I was looking forward to this all week (which has been a very depressing week already). It would be greatly appreciated if someone from 343 could reply to me in this thread or in a private message with an answer of whether or not this is possible.
