So, we didn’t get Halo 3 Anniversary last year, the 10th anniversary of the game. However, do you think there’s a possibility that they’ll do it later on, like for the 15th anniversary? Would be dope if all three games got remastered, wrapping it in a nice bundle and putting a bow on top.

No, I don’t think we’ll get that. I kind of think MCC shot down any talks of anniversary games. If they did, I’m guessing it would just be something small like a campaign release.

I don’t know what meaningful improvements they could make to the game to warrant a “remaster” sticker slapped on the cover. Halo 3 BC on Xbox One and MCC already look good and perform well in ideal network conditions. Remastering Halo 3 seems so unnecessary, and gives off cash cow vibes.

I can hear that moooo already. I’m in though, being one of the people hyped for it’s non existent announcement was disappointing to be sure. They could release a 13 year anniversary and I’d still buy it 
how awesome would it be to have it released with maps spanning from halo CE through halo 5? Yowza, maybe that cow bit me
I imagine a remaster to celebrate 20 years of halo if they do it will probably be like cea and mcc a year before the next big thing

Okay, okay jokes aside, serious talk, tbh I wouldn’t mind getting a Halo 3 anniversary in 2020 or 2022, I know it won’t happen but I still would love to see a Halo 3 Anniversary with Blur Cutscenes, it would be a dream come true
But if I were to remaster it to Xbox one, I’d do something like Borderlands: The Handsome Collection did
Honestly, I’d hope not. The whole “remastered” trend is getting really old. I’d rather see 343 Industries focus their efforts on new games and material for the Halo universe. If we were to see a Halo 3 Remastered Edition, I’d prefer to see it released in 2027 (20th Anniversary) or 2037 (30th Anniversary). Those would be true remasters and would introduce a completely new generation to Halo.
I doubt it. By 2022, Halo Infinite will have just came out recently and 343i will probably be busy making DLC and extra content in that game.
