Seeing as though Legendary Slayer is largely based on classic Slayer gameplay, I think it would be appropriate for you to remove sprint.
I understand that you can’t remove flinch, but you’ve already shown that you can disable sprint (Lightning Flag). In my opinion, there’s no justification for it to be present in LS.

Remove Sprint, and add the Magnum as a secondary.
Then my life would be complete.
Also have a separate Legendary BR Slayer that would appear on the voting list, since LS is it’s own playlist.
Honestly, I think at launch, it’s best to still have Sprint. I don’t think the goal was for them to add a playlist exactly like Halo 3, but very close. I’m fine with Sprint mainly because the maps launching with the playlist are designed with Sprint in mind. If they added classic maps, then removing Sprint might be better.

That’s very true there, but why not just increasing the base movement speed to 125%? It would allow better strafing and it would eliminate the map-size issue.

This is exactly what 343 needs to do.
I’d prefer if sprint was removed too. If enough support is garnered, 343 will undoubtedly consider it (assuming they haven’t already).

If they haven’t, they definitely should! I like Sprint, but with all the demand for it to be removed, I think they at least need to consider it. And they’ve proved it’s possible with Lightning Flag. They do need to wait a week or two after release and see if the demand is still as high as it is now.

Why not? Since when does “Legendary” mean “No Sprint”? Legendary Slayer can be anything 343 wants it to. I don’t see where you were trying to go with that.

You just contradicted yourself. It’s supposed to act as a true classic playlist, but sprint just takes that classic feel and chucks it out the window.
No matter what you say, sprint does not belong in a classic playlist, and it never will. Also relating to your thread on BR starts, there are plenty of other playlists where you get enabled sprint, so why can’t there be one without it?
Removing Sprint and adding a Magnum secondary would make Legendary Slayer almost perfect. Of course, there’s that very irritating flinch problem…

That still doesn’t explain why it can’t have Sprint to be Legendary. And they never specifically stated that it was supposed to be a classic playlist. I believe they said it was supposed to be somewhere between normal and competitive.

I said in a way not it is a classic playlist, so no, I did not contradict myself, I don’t care if there’s sprint or not, I’m just saying it’s sort of classic with a new taste

Exactly. It seems to me like they’re trying to do a classic playlist while still allowing people to keep some of their crutches. That just ain’t gonna work though, is it?
You either give us a faithful classic experience, or just don’t bother.
