Could we get a separate sensitivity for smart link

Hey guys,
I was wondering if we could get a separate sensitivity option for smart link aiming since we’re getting different options for vertical and horizontal sensitivities in the next patch. I would like it because I would prefer my smart link sensitivity to be slower (I play on 4, would like to have my smart link sens on 2, and non smart link on 8 for example). As of now, I feel like I have to be quite slow on the stick when I’m aiming as to not over compensate (because a 4 smart link sens is still a bit fast for me), and playing on 4 overall is slow to me. I know that this would make the game more similar to other shooters and that hardcore fans would be upset, but I think that it would make the gameplay a lot better for quite a few people, and those who prefer it as it is now could set it up that way.

I play on 2 and when I zoom in it feels like 15 no fun.

I think the whole point of smart link is that it feels the same as normal aiming. Kinda like the old school Halo when zooming and aiming the movement and sensitivity is the same. I think it is harder when zooming in this game though cause of the greater movement speed.

Can you come up with any negatives if a separate sensitivity option for smart link was implemented?

that would be awesome.

The vast majority wouldn’t use it?

Halo players are used to having normal and zoomed aiming at the same sensitivity because that’s how it’s been since CE. If it were different it would throw me off badly. ADS in Halo isn’t like ADS in CoD and doesn’t really need to be treated differently.

That would not be a negative. It’s like saying there shouldn’t be an option to adjust the music volume because pretty much everybody leaves it as it is. And as you surely know, not only Halo players bought Halo 5. I mostly played CoD/BF throughout the years, played a lot of Titanfall last year, and many people who played these games also bought Halo 5 (six of them are on my friend list). I just don’t see any legitimate technical reason as to why they shouldn’t implement an option for it.
