A double RP weekend would IMO be unfair for all the people who’ve gone through the grind already and/or spent money on the packs to complete their collection. To give the newer players a chance to get a good leap on their unlocks would be a slap in the face to the players who have been here since launch and had no such opportunity. Keep the playing ground fair, even for the guys who are no longer in the game.
Won’t happen for the simple fact that goes vs 343 wanting people to buy reqs.

I’d rather have a double REQ pack weekend. For every gold pack you purchase through points or money, you also get a silver pack and you get a bronze pack if you purchase a silver pack.

Double xp weekends are a slap in the face to every 152 who grinded for max rank without double xp weekends. 343 don’t care though they just want req pack money so they’ll only do xp weekends
What are you people even talking about? They aren’t slaps to the face for XP or RP.
No one forced people to grind for numerous hours a day to try and get everything done, and because you wanted to get it done faster then it should normally take isn’t 343’s problem. Do you want a pat on the back or something? Good job. The only fault from 343 is they could’ve made their payouts a little higher. Frankly, who cares. It will help them in maybe 1% of their completion and less with XP, but they still have to play a ton.
I believe the slaps in the face were handed out by some of the early 152’s and their honorable spartan companies. lol

Yeah… sure I’ll go for that over double RP seems pretty interesting to try but either way, I’ll go for one of the two.

Nah. most of those people have a million + RP (I have 850k) sitting there and could care less about double RP. I think it would be great for the people still in the grind.
Double RP, RP sale where gold and silver packs cost less would be great as well. I’m praying for a boost only pack for arena

Why can’t it be double XP and RP? Are there really still that many people buying packs?
Anyway, who cares if it helps players get to 152 or finish their collection faster? Especially if it helps keep the population strong it will help those of us who are still playing Halo 5 two years later.
well i don’t buy my req packs because i’m just good at the game but i don’t see why not
Not a slap in the face to anyone. 343 is doing a good job trying to keep the game relevant. Doing a double RP weekend would help boosts new players joining the game so they can get reqs faster. I would approve of it.
I believe we need this in our lives.

That is a good point. However I think that double XP helps appease both the new players and the old. It helps new players level up faster which gives them that achievement high and it keeps older players active because once you get to a high level double XP is much more motivating than double RP.
