Could Use a Bit of Help with Infinite

So I saw the update, saw that Halo Infinite’s multiplayer just went live. However I’ve been completely unable to access it on Xbox Series X. I had it preordered, and when I tried to start it up I got the title splash screen and then it just went… blue. No activity, no loading, just stuck on a sky blue screen. Figured I might need to update or reinstall, did a hard reset of the Xbox, uninstalled, went to reinstall from my library and I noticed I’m only getting the 280 megabyte pre-install.

Where would I go to get the full multiplayer install? Can anyone maybe point me in the right direction on this?

Game has to update first, you’d think they’d get this done soon before or during announcement.

Is there any time table on when the update might be available? It’s not in my download queue for available game updates.

Unfortunately not, I guess just keep checking. I assume the forums will pop off something furious once it is live on Xbox. Just refresh the main board and wait for the topics confirming.

Online games tend to always be rough on release. Especially when they drop suddenly.

Looks like its like that on Windows store too.

You only download the 10MB placeholder.

The problem lies in the “surprise” factor here. If they release it too early and people see an update populate then it ruins the surprise. If they time it right at announcement then they’re likely to have hiccups with rolling it out.

The place holder280.2mbs
Is not abplayable game.
