They are probably making an even better version of the Xbox One.

Could be in development,but i don’t see a new console til 2022 at the earliest.Releasing a halo with a new console when halo 5 was so ill received isn’t really a great idea
I personally hope Halo is a launch title for a new console. Making the game on the good old xbox one could create limitation.
I imagine it will release next year. They follow the pattern announceent at e3, release the following year.

I’ve heard a theory that this isn’t going to be like traditional Halo releases, but it’ll be a hub to all future Halo content, and that’s why it’s named Infinite. What do you think of that theory?
I think it’d be great if Halo Infinite were at least playable on the original Xbox One even if it’s optimized for the next Xbox console.

I have my own vision of halo and a potential element like that doesn’t seem like it belongs in a halo game.It seems more like an rpg or mmo element than a fps

During the Bethesda conference, for both Starlight(?) And Elder Scrolls VI was stated to be designed for “next gen consoles”. At least starlight was said to be coming out next year, and with the way they worded it, also ES6.
