I looked up precursors (necros) and they surprisingly looked like the Harbinger’s body-type, color, and build. The endless could be the precursors. The Harbingers helmet also matches the design of armored precursors. Look it up. It’s worth the dig.

I mean it would not surprise me if there’s some association. There’s an audiolog where she is interrogating Hunan prisoner and says:
“Now I shall talk and you shall listen”
Sure a Gravemind quote doesn’t prove it. But there has to be some association.
I also think they may be taking some inspiration from the Hrud in 40k. The thing which drew the attention of the Forerunners was the Halo did not kill them and some unusual control or mastery of time. If the Harbinger can survive Halo firing then they have incentive to fire it to take the galaxy as their own.
Ive read alot of Halo Novels, ive delped deep into the Termianls, I own both enceclopedias of Halo. I have never seen or heard alot of what I see at Halo Fanon about those “Necros?” precoirsers. I cant find anything about them on other sites aswell?!?

To your question, No on both terms, First the Precoursers are described diffrently in look, they are known to change appearence however the way she talked and phrased things wasnt really precoursery
The Harbinger was propably from just another Alien species wich lived on after the Halo array. Since the Endless arent affected by the array they arent precourser aswell. For that reason they where deemed to be too dangerous and imprisioned for eternity, left to be forgotten. Since that was the point every follower who knew about their existence has been imprisoned aswell —> the Harbinger.
