…about halo 4?

To start off I love the game. I’ve loved every halo (except HW, not into rts games, they just arent for me) but i can’t help but feel like 343 isn’t showing the same love as bungie.

so far my concerns are:
-way too few maps and playlists
-so far only 2 playlist updates
-Spartan ops is weak (I like it but it trickles out the pipe too slow and the content is minimal)
-the lack of a ranked playlist
-the fact that I can’t save campaign or spartan ops games (I’m guessing to save on processing power)
-the ridiculously low xp caps
-selling out with the double xp and 7/11 KOTH crap
-and lastly the fact that most people could be at 130 by march or earlier. pathetic compared to halo 3’s and reaches’ max levels which were much more reasonable.

that final point is a big one. the game is fun enough that I would play it without the ranks and other stuff but it kind of bums me out.

TLDR. Where’s the love?

There has been a playlist update every week since Halo 4 came out, there has been three so far.

Ranked Playlists will be coming in January 2013 with Competitive Skill Ranking.

The XP caps are being raised based on how often people are capping on a daily basis, the more you and others hit it, the higher it will be raised!

I suppose that may make you feel slightly better.

I still don’t like that the ranked didn’t ship with it and there were talks about it only being visible on waypoint and smartglass. I feel like either marketing is strangling 343 or they just don’t care (or appear to care) like good old bungle.
