What’s the point of weekly playlists? Why not just put them all up and keep them there? What harm is it to keep a playlist that consistently has over 10k players in it like SWAT? Does it take up extra server space to the extent that you need to pinch pennies like that? Well, no, it can’t be about money, because they’ll replace it with another playlist that’ll take up just as much space.
If anything, rotate the less traditional, less popular playlists like Flood which consistently under-performs relative to the other playlists. Or is it too much to admit that making infection bad has made infection… well… bad?
So, to get back on topic, could someone please explain to me why it is that we have a playlist that are popular and have been regular in the series since the latter half of Halo 3’s popularity that’s going to be removed, if only for a while, from the matchmaking circuit, or, for that matter, why any playlists at all are rotated out? It makes absolutely no sense, IMO.
Also, why was Snipers removed? Was that the cyclical weekly whatever as well? If so, explain why having this system makes sense.
pls discuss nd thx.
