Basically there is something I cant quite work out, and that is if HW2 has a option to play against bots.
Like with HW where you could have a lobby with a friend and play against some bots and skirmish for example.
does anyone actually know if playing against bots with friends for a skirmish or deathmatch is still a thing?
Also somewhat relevant does anyone know if the campaign is co-op like HW1?

It’s pretty much a given that HW 2 will have that. No question about it.

Campaign is Co-op
I don’t see why they wouldnt, it’s an rts game after all, multi-player ai is a norm

What I want to know is if the multiplayer is crossplay???

There won’t be cross play for Halo Wars 2 at launch. Can’t say if it will come later, always a possibility I guess, but for now it’s not possible. The main focus was Play Anywhere

No there is no crossplay in halo wars 2 or the definitive edition of halo wars
