Could of done better.

I’m definitely no hater, I am a Halo loyalist and have been playing offline since Halo CE and then went online with Halo 3 and lived in matchmaking since. You can even look or compare my games, mostly ALL I play are Halo games.

Either way, this is sad really, I’ve played a few games, and the maps aren’t all that, and the game play isn’t too great either. It’s completely too easy, definitely pandering to the noobs. Without any kind of ranking, I just don’t feel the need and don’t get that excited feeling when a game is close, it’s like it doesn’t matter at all. I stood in line in freezing cold weather, only played a hour or so, and now I’m up here posting, that should say it all.

Even though Reach was a complete failure, and I admit the game play itself is far and away better than Reach, I wish that Bungie was doing this. I can only hope Microsoft realizes this entry is a crapfest too, and maybe they will overhaul the production team, and we finally get the sequel to Halo 3 we deserve. Alas, they will see themselves when the population on MM or excuse me “War Games” has severely dropped by February if they don’t make some updates soon.

WE WANT HALO, not a COD ripoff. COD sucks, and I can’t believe this is the route they chose to go. If we wanted the POS -Yoink- COD, then the $60 bucks would of been spent next Tuesday.

Shut up

Maybe it takes time for the hidden rank system to calculate your skill and sort the pro’s from the n00b. I’m not sure if what I’m saying is true, it’s just a speculation.

Oh, look. Another post about how terrible evolution is. Yes, let’s just keep playing the exact same game, time after time.

The loadouts work fantastically, AA’s and the packages are really no big deal this time around. Honestly, I just put jetpack on everything because I find the rest so useless. IMHO, this is the best online Halo experience (objectively, nothing could beat H2 in terms of enjoyment) to date. My shots register across the map, little to no lag, no H3 “One gun to rule them all” shenanigans, everything just works.

Of course there’s launch problems, but what were you expecting? With this many people all playing at once, there’s no server in the world (owned by a video game company) that could handle it fine.

yet another of the old complainers. jezz just shut up and get over you precious ranking system already, its getting added later. i swear some people “think” there halo fans, when in reality they are number fans. as in the tine numbers next to there name.

Is this really all the retort you people could come up with? I’m just a complainer who only cares about the Ranking? I do not care about the ranking, but the ranking is very important to the longevity of this game. And whether anyone wants to admit it or not, but the ranking drives competition and more fun matches. This social BS is for people who want to be rewarded for losing. I could careless about an actual number, I just want to be penalized for losing like everyone should. There is no reason at all to be given something and increasing rank when you lose. It just doesn’t make sense, and it was the death of Reach, and we will see, but it could be on Halo 4 as well unless they make changes.

There are things I like about this game especially the weapons. They just feel good and true when firing and killing someone. The game play is not so terrible, but it’s WAY to much like COD, I don’t mind a game evolving, but Halo use to set the standard for FPS, now they are just falling in line with the rest of them. When I buy a game that says Halo on the cover, evolution out the window, I want something that feels like I’m playing Halo, not like I’m just playing crappy COD.

Also, the most important thing, I spent my $60 on this game, I didn’t pirate it or anything like that, so I have the right to complain and make suggestions on how to improve it all I want, and could careless would anyone has to say about it, in the end it’s my opinion, and I could careless would anyone else’s opinion is, especially when there are not really any valid points to counter my argument.

Don’t defend yourself. People are just doing the same as you and defending the game, even though most of them just read the title then started typing. Everyone has an opinion.

Yeah I’ll agree this game is pretty -Yoinking!- bad…I regret purchasing it. I was at least decent in all other Halos…now I can’t get a positive K/D ratio to save my soul. If you can’t kill anyone in the multiplayer…where’s the fun? I’m selling it tomorrow on Craigslist…disappointing P.O.S.

I agree with the OP. There was absolutely no reason to change the games from first to 50 to the crap system it is now. There was no reason to make the matchmaking screen completely different from all the previous installments. Everything looks like trading cards. The music sets a terrible mood at the MM menus. The instant spawning make it impossible to control a map. Just no thank you. I wish Bungie was still around because this team is just shaft riding CoD.

I love the people who say “Get better.” It has nothing to do with your skill at the game. It’s just not halo. This is CoD with shields.

Now to wait until Halo 5.

>

Halo 5 is going to be made by the same team, the same team you mentioned “shaft riding CoD.”

So it will most likely implement almost all the stuff from H4 MM.

> Is this really all the retort you people could come up with?

They are the quitters, hoarders, -Yoinks!- of the game.
Salute your opinion.

Anyone saying they were good at other halos and cant get a positive KD are just lying hahahahahahhaa

Multiplayer is great, it’s leaps and bounds above Halo: Reach and we are getting our ranking system in the near future.

Game is easy to pick up and get the hang of which is great for old players and new alike, my only gripe is the capping EXP daily and joining games that are already almost done, apart from that it’s fine.

Also, I’ve been good at all halos, and I’m good at this too, so yeah… you just suck.

>

Well then I’ll save 60 bucks. Woot

I’ve been doing fine so far. Of the 3 games I’ve played, my team always won and I always got a positive K/D spread. My only complaint is the fact that people who are higher ranks have noticeable advantages over the low ranks.

Once again, a forum of children ignore constructive criticism because it’s not what they want to hear.
