Whenever I try and start a multiplayer game I get the error message: Could not find a server that is suitable for all members of your fireteam. This is strange because I’m the only one in my party. My Xbox live works fine, and I could play MCC and any other game online without issue. When trying to start a co-op campaign session, I get the message: Error retrieving data center quality information. Please try again later.
This happened last night, and I checked this morning also and just now. No change. If anybody could help that would be greatly appreciated.
Restart your modem. - Hard-reset your console by holding down the power button for ten seconds, then turn your console back on VIA your controller. - Disconnect from your Wi-F, then reconnect after a few minutes. If you have a wired connection, disconnect your Ethernet cord for a few minutes then plug it back after a few minutes.
Getting the same thing here, and there’s a few of us going by some of the threads here. I’ve tried restarting everything numerous times over the past day and a bit with no joy.
Getting the same issue, been 24 hours now since purchase.
Nat type is open, restarted console and router numerous times, checked ports are allowing it and they are. Reinstalled and updated twice.
Chat update for myself:
First person just said servers are iffy.
Second person took down my details and came to the same conclusion
Third person just gave me a link to a page which answered not much.
Fourth person had me perform a power drain on the console and complete reboot, it didn’t work but they have apparently passed along issue to the right people.
To my understanding this error is due to ping latency restrictions setup by 343 to improve the over all multiplayer gaming experience of those with optimal connections…meaning if you have a less than pristine connection you are always going to get that error and will not be able to play Arena or Warzone until/if those restrictions are removed…so if you are like me, you are out of luck and are stuck playing solo unless there are some fixes applied on the back end…

Not heard that one myself, my connection is perfect so I doubt that.

Change your DNS settings in network to 8.8.8.8, and 8.8.4.4 respectively. Some ISP’s don’t update their -Yoink- very quickly, and this should get ahead of that if this is the issue.

How did you manage to only enter a single number per box in the DNS manual setup, it needs two each or am I being horribly stupid somehow?

I’ve been having this issue as well.
Had no troubles when the game launched, but now I can’t use anything multiplayer-related in Halo 5, even though I can party chat with people in the multiplayer and play other games online.

Press RB after filling in a box with only one digit, this will skip to the next box.

Nothing here either, going to request a call back tomorrow and speak yet again to Xbox support on the issue.
