STILL WORKING
Hi I’ve been reading in this issue and I’m having the same problem with xfinity isp. But I’ve found that halo 5 plays fine on att uverse for some reason. It has a strict nat but all ports are open and has little to no lag when I play. As to why halo 5 doesn’t play on xfiniti idk. Master chief collection plays fine on multiplayer for xfiniti. But like you one min my nat is open and working then it goes to strict and keeps me off line. I would like to try port triggering like you but I can’t find any upnp settings on my modem. Is that because it has to be wired? Or do I not need to worry about upnp? Also I have a technicolor modem for the Internet and a net gear gateway router for home security system. Do I need to open ports on the gateway too? This is really annoying and neither Xbox or xfiniti customer service knows how to fix it. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Also I still have my 360 connected to xfiniti and it plays fine online as well could that have any effect? Just wanna give as much info as possible so if you or someone from 343 reads this they can figure out this problem. Thanks.

sounds like we are similar set ups. I believe we have the same modem, if you can send the model number. I am on Comcast in NorCal.
I used this video
Go to 6min 30 sec, it will show you how to NAT for multiple consoles. Its not using the same modem but I was able to apply these settings to the router and get everything running for (x) amount of days, its still running :) hope it works for you man, trying to get everybody on the same pageI have had this problem since christmas, have tryed lots of different things and nothing has worked yet.
I’ve been checking the forums for weeks and 343 still hasnt replied to anything yet…s
Ok it’s a technicolor tc8305c.
also which ports are you opening or triggering? So far forwarding ports or dmz setup has not worked or works for a bit then goes down.
just setup triggering ports
53,80,88,500,3074,3544,4500
are these the right ports?
So port forwarding, port triggering, and DMZ setup does not work for some reason. It’ll work for a bit then no connection. Port triggering didn’t work at all. Power cycled the Xbo x didn’t power cycle the modem. I don’t understand what is wrong. I’m at my mother in laws now and she has att uverse and I opened the ports on it awhile back and it connects fine gives me a strict nat but not slow little to no lag on multiplayer oh and IT LETS ME PLAY HALO 5!!! That’s what I don’t get att uverse works fine but xfiniti like I said played fine , when it connected, on master chief collection but will not play multiplayer for halo 5. It’s obviously a conspiracy. The xfiniti is the blast it’s supposed to be the freaking best out there.
ill check my settings when I get home today to post what specifics my settings has, I have the same router.
Here’s hoping the port triggering thing works for me, cause my games gone down too.
Okay so I shut down my firewall on my network and THAT seemed to do it. No clue if thats it though…
Guys i found a temporary fix to the error " could not find a suitable server for entire members of your fire team." I switched from my broadband internet to a portable wireless internet device. Basically by changing my internet connection to a different device seems to have fixed it for now. So if anyone else experiences this in the future, try changing your internet connection.

Try using a different device or connection. Or try to log in from a friends house who can play halo 5 online. If you can play from another internet source then the problem could be in your internet. I reached out to Microsoft and they said to give them 48hrs to look into this. It turns out my complain was ONLY the THIRD complain they have gotten in regards to this issue.
Please tell me there’s a fix for this now

Sadly the only fix that has been working for me now is by changing my internet connection to a different device. So far i have experienced no issues and I can play with my friends around the globe.

Yeah I tethered my Xbox to my phone and that worked but it isn’t an ideal solution

yeh it aint, but thats the only thing that has been working for now. Microsoft and 343 have come up with no solutions what so ever. They told me to do a detailed statistics test from my xbox and then they said that my packet loss is too high and so is my latency. Funny thing is my friend had even worse stats and he was playing without any issue.
