as of the end of the game halsey is a few decks away from MC. sooo not dead
Simple answer. No. He might get a new one for a short time but Cortana is not dead. She will be back or Halo 5, won’t be halo.

If I had to guess, Halo 5 is going to be insanely dark and lead up to the return of Cortana, and 6 you’ll have to… FINISH THE FIGHT… AGAIN

it was said that the forerunners where trying to do flesh to code thing, and cortana was made of some of Dr. halsey’s DNA. so if there is a peace of cortana around in the ship debrie i’m sure they can find a way to get her to be human.

He can do whatever he feels like.

I can’t understand it enough to get a laugh out of it. .

Yes, however I think he/she should deliberately made malicious and unlikable. It should really remind us that Cortana is gone and bring out some good character development in the plot.
