Could I still hit max rank b4 infinite?

So I took a long month brake from halo 5 as I was getting bored of the grind however if you take a look at my profile I am still at a decent rank to still grind for 152, how long do you think it will take me from now to get there? I also have 120 legendary warzone ff xp boosts if this helps

According to halopedia— rank 146 puts you at about 20% of the way to 152

legendary xp will definitely help, but it’s still a ways to go

You’re quite far from it. It’s not to be looked at in terms of the difference between simply the numbers 152 from 120. The XP needed to rank up is what you need to look at. I think someone told me SR 150 is considered the halfway point. Half way man. Lol unless I was told wrong.

Yeah, you hit 150 at 24 million xp, but hit 152 at 50 million xp – the last 5 or so levels jump exponentially

As others have said, you still have quite the ways to go. It’s possible, but for most people, 146 to 152 will take longer than a year. Your 120 legendary boosts will help take a small chunk of the grind down, but you will use them up before you even get to the halfway point. You still have thousands of matches to go if you plan to get 152. Good luck with whichever route you decide to take

It’s certainly possible to get to 152. It just really depends on how much time you have available to you.
You’ll need to play about 4-6 hours each day at a minimum. Every day. Without fail. And maximise XP by playing Mythic Firefight. Even then that will take you quite a while to get to 152, probably a few months.

If you don’t have a lot of time because your have school or a job I’d say the 152 grind probably isn’t even worth trying at this point.

I started my 152 grind last year at rank 148, it took me about 2-3 months of solid play time to get to 152 (pre mythic FF 24/7). Had loads of time due to national lockdown but it was still a huge grind.

Looking at your current rank of 146 whilst you may only have 6 more levels to go until you get to 152, in terms of total XP required you’re about 20% of the way to max rank.
Just after rank 150 is the true half way point.

My name is Mr Wob Ken and I am also on the hunt for my 152. I am a level 150 and am about 18.5M xp away from 152. I have a plan and need a team for warzone to grind xp. With this method we will implement we can obtain 160k xp an hour easily for as long as we have a cooperative team. Please feel free to add me if you’re willing to play. My Xbox name is the same as my tag on here. “Mr Wob Ken”

In order to estimate the feasibility of reaching the final rank in Halo 5 before Halo Infinite gets released, we need to make an assumption about the release date. In this instance, we assume that Halo Infinite gets released on Nov 1st, 2021 which is within 110 days.

Based on your current xp situation, you need to collect 40,511,756 xp xp within the assumed 110 day period. This constitutes to collecting 370,000 xp/day. In order get get an estimate of the size of this number, it constitutes to playing 6-6.5 hours of Mythic Warzone Firefight per day (active playtime where lobby time is excluded) if a XP Jackpot or Rare XP Boost is used in every single game.

Based on these numbers, it’s definitly possible to reach SR152 before Halo Infinite gets released. On the other hand, I would view it as infeasible due to the daily playtime requirement.

I think I added you yesterday, I’ll be on in the afternoon

I’ve been considering making the push for this but I still don’t see any clarification if the SR 152 rewards will be available for those who play Halo Infinite on Steam. I would willingly waste my life away but I need to know it wouldn’t all be for nothing. :joy:

As long as your accounts are linked, I see no reason why you shouldn’t be able to get the rewards while playing infinite on steam. If you look at other games where you can link cross-platform accounts you share the progress unless you decide to separate the accounts.

However, considering you’re only level 93 you almost certainly wouldn’t unlock the rewards even if you tried because you still need another 47,000,000 xp, or between 4-8 hours of playtime a day.

I’m about half way into 147, and I’m giving up. I just don’t see how the rewards equal the time and effort. I could try and grind it out, but to what avail?
I’m just going to wait on Infinite, and hopefully not kill my X-box in the mean time by trying to grind War Zone 14 hours a day. That’s just me though. Not trying to discourage
anyone from trying, but they sat the bar stupid high, and I’m just not willing to jump through those kinds of hoops. I thought about grinding it down a year ago, when Infinite got
delayed, but I didn’t. So I’m not rushing it in now with 3 months left. If I’m not having fun, then whats the point, right?

When I wrote my best tips for grinding 152 in a post, that was the first things that I gave a warning, and was the having fun, if anyone didn’t have fun playing while plays and grind to 152, is better don’t waste your time and get fun playing another games or something like that. The main point is having fun, if anyone doesn’t have that the game becomes boring and even frustrating, and nobody deserves to get that in a game, we need to prioritize our health after all.

You got this! Never give up!

If you have a job/ school - probably not :frowning:

This depends on how much time you have at your disposal and how much xp that remains.

As an example, if you are able to dedicate 1 hour (active playtime) on a daily basis. Then, you will get around 60,000 xp/day or a bit more than 10% of the total xp requirement for SR152 before Halo Infinite gets released. With this time investment, we can be pretty confident that it’s possible to reach SR152 before the release date for Halo Infinite if you have already obtained around 45 million xp.

The dude I quoted hasn’t reached rank 148 yet…

So just for reference… I hit 151 in April, and just hit 152 last week. I play roughly 2-3 (4 if I’m lucky) hours on the weeknights and 5-8 hours on the weekends. I stuck to mostly mythic firefight using rare and legendary xp boosts. That’s roughly 4 months or so, just on the last rank alone… and you still have a total of 5 ranks to finish. It’s a tall ask, and the 120 legendary boosts will help, but you’ll run out long before you get close to 152, I used roughly 160 legendary boosts just from 151-152. I wish you the best of luck!! I hope you make it!!!

Based on the original post, the xp situation for the referenced user isn’t clearly stated mainly due to insufficient information about the referenced user. Due to this, I based the post on a typical user who has collected an unknown amount of xp.

You would have to play every day until halo infinit’s release,

88 days straight, for about 7.5 hours a day, if you get 15k xp per firefight match, at 15 minutes per match.

Good luck.
