It’s too late for Infinite, but do you think the next Halo game could go back to being a paid fully boxed product like before? Personally I’d love it to, but I think once you go free to play it’s almost impossible to go back.

That would of been the smart thing to do with infinite. Unfortunately we’re in for a 10 year wait.
Who ever bought the campaign should get full access. People who want free multiplayer can keep buying cat ears and helmets for £5 for the next decade

Triple-A Free-to-Play is a sin.
The company want’s to make its money back.
Halo Infinite had a budget of around $500 MILLION.
How are they going to get their profits to outreach that budget?
By making the game Free-to-Play, they have to do sleazy business tactics.
Hence the over-priced Fortnite-style shop system.
Thats one of many reasons why I don’t play fortnite
I don’t play it because the devs broke it and the typical player is a sweaty cringe-lord.
