We all saw Emile get stabbed in Reach, but could he have survived?
There are a few things to support this theory.
If you melee Emile’s dead body, the energy shields will diminish and recharge as normal.
MJLONIR Powered assult armor can withstand a blow from an energy sword.
When Master Chief crash landed on earth in Halo 3, his armor locked down. Maybe Emile’s had done the same.
He could have just stayed on reach, annihilating any covenant who crossed him.
At this point, you probably will be saying either “that’s a valid point”, “No way, he’s totally dead” or “meh”.
Although he’s likely dead, this was just a brief few reasons on how he could have survived.
What do you think?
I mean, he only would have had to survive the initial stabbing and he’d be getting off scot free! From there he’d need to live through the glassing of Reach, then find a working vehicle to get him off world which would probably take a few days while not starving or bleeding out because of the two holes in his chest that probably pierced his heart and/or arteries.

> It’s funny how the term “glassing” is used by dumb people. You can only “glass” sand.
actually the glassing refers to how parts of the planet are actually glassed and the heat from glassing these areas completely destroys and burns away all surrounding areas. even if he survived the sword and the glassing his oxygen wouldnt have held up long enough to be able to breath the air around him.
Locking his armor would have stopped only the suits joints from moving not from any thing penetrating it.
Just think would you survive if you had a sword pushed through you ?
Not only did it look like it was close to his spinal column but I hate to thing of the internal organs that would have been damaged. The energy sword may have cauterized it but that’s reaching sorry 4 the pun.

Lol, you know that there are many different ingredients that can be used to create different types of glass, right? “Sand” is a term used to define a mixture of tiny bits of many different types of minerals and sediment. There’s even volcanic glass, like obsidian.
