Could CEA be released early (in my area)?

So I have this RadioShack in my area that puts out videos games early. I have seen a couple but most recently I saw Gears of War 3 the saturday before the offical street date. It was no display case. Pricetag,plastic wrap and all. I wonder if they will do the same with CEA? Does anyone else have a RadioShack or any other store that does this?
