At the end of Episode 4 of Hunt the Truth, Ben is beyond terrified as ONI calls him in, demanding he meet with Sully. Before he walks to the ONI HQ, he meets with Petra Janecek and tells her about his findings. Petra says Ben should give her his recordings so she can look them over. This is making me think, could Ben actually die and Petra begins to become suspicious and moves forward with the investigation?
I don’t know if ONI would kill Ben. His story was obviously getting too close to exposing the truth, but I don’t think he had anything concrete enough to justify such drastic measures. I can definitely see them keeping him locked up on some trumped-up charge though.
That’d be sad but I could see something like that happening, not kill but probably kidnaped.
Or maybe what Stalin did to his political opponents and force Ben to plead guilty to a crime he did not commit?
I agree, I don’t think they would kill him but maybe kidnap and send her on a curious mission to finish the story… or maybe they team up. Who knows lol
Doubt it. I think she will take the role of a secondary character, because she obviously knows how this works.
She will also probably keep Ben unexposed for some time. The meeting with ONI? Supposedly just there to make it more interessting, he will survive it and get out.
It would also be a bit too obvious to expect him to just die. I hope the writers have more up their sleeve, like crazy plot twists and stuff.
I feel like after his talk with ONI, he will continue doing his “make ONI look good” routine while secretly gathering information. And then when he has all the info he just releases it all at once.
