Is this a realistic question and if it was would people buy it? Halo: Custom Edition sold pretty well and had so much custom user created content. It was like its own Gary’s Mod.
Maybe. It might not even be that difficult; CEA is built from Halo PC, not the original Xbox version.
I would imagine it could be ported and even improved for PC. The problem is that Microsoft won’t do it.

Yeah i don’t get that. if microsoft released it for PC their profits will… kinda go up (sorry not really a business person… nor a marketing person)
still they COULD just mode halo ce down to its core (from gameplay to its engine) and make their own anniversary!
I think it would sell pretty well. I mean I have a semi decent gaming PC and would love to run the game on its highest settings and maybe even get 3D working properly I would buy it. Not to mention I would love to see what stuff the modding community would come up with.
