Idk if I missed it in the info dump from 343, but is Couch Co-Op going to be a thing or do you have to be on separate devices?
As far as I read, it’s suppose to be the normal Co-Op of previous Halo games, but 343 notoriously changes anything and everything so who knows what they will try to reinvent for no reason.
Supposedly, we might get Co-Op during Season 3 or 4. Which could either be six months or up to one year before Co-Op is released according to the roadmap and possible lengths of future Seasons.
Yeah they keep using the words Network Co-op but not couch Co-op nor of anything mentioned about Split Screen Co-op. Is it coming with this update? Are we going to have to wait longer like around season 3? Or is it even coming at all now?
honestly the wording they’re using is giving me some serious Halo 5 Flashbacks.
They said previously couch coop is coming during season 3.
I just keep hearing Co-Op and Network Co-Op over and over. So i’m worried that it may not be that way. The way they are skating around their policy on item monetization leaves me worried about this.
Its officially listed as a seperate thing on the road map, so I dont think they’re skirting at the moment.
I still haven’t bought the campaign and I never will until they have couch coop. Halo 5 was the first Halo game I never purchased because they didn’t have split screen coop. All my fond memories of Halo are doing couch coop campaign and it’s just such a betrayal to the franchise and the fans to scrap it for pixel rate or some other nonsense. It’s a core aspect of why the game is fun, you don’t abandon that for anything else.
We seen it in the past bring it back to us.
