What exactly do you mean by toggle? Like, the ability to toggle their visibility if they’re on other players in game, or the ability to toggle their visibility on yourself? Like, I am genuinely confused as to what you’re suggesting here.
Basically the same toggle that is in MCC.
I’m voting no because I know there’s a lot of support for a toggle on here and I’m an -Yoink!-
I haven’t played MCC in a while (XD) so could you maybe explain this to me? Sorry! EDIT: Looked it up, I’m now educated, and I will vote on this poll.
Basically, if you are wanting to be immersed and view only cannon armor configurations, this toggle would disable Fracture armors visibility on your end only, not disrupting anyone else’s ability to view these armors.
Would really love to see a toggle!
Everyone has the right to customize their game as they would like, for some that might mean wearing non-canon cosmetics, and for others that might mean preserving an immersive, canon based experience. Especially if PVE modes are included, we’ll really need this toggle.
Yes but really only if it works in the one i describe in my thread.
When we get an armor toggle this is how it should work

Armor effects aren’t covered by the MCC toggle though.
The examples provided aren’t “Fracture” items, explain your reasoning and why they should be included.
MCC doesn’t even have a toggle for fractures so the OP is and poll is based on misinformation.
MCC just has a toggle for “new skins” ergo, it only affects things these legacy titles didn’t originally launch with. It covers much more than Fractures, it also includes cut content despite them being canon . The toggle in MCC isn’t really appropriate for Infinite since all content is new and it would therefore include new, original canon items.
I think that if 343i won’t make a proper “Fractures” toggle for MCC then they sure as hell aren’t gonna do so for Infinite. Especially when there’s real world money involved (Store/Battle Passes).
56% and 48% results? That doesn’t equal 100. Why does this poll go to 104%? What kind of shenanigans are going on with this poll wtf?
Why do we need another topic on this? There’s already an active one on the front page…
They literally can’t because they charged people real money for those items. You HAVE to look at them - besides that’s part of the appeal of expressing yourself.
I mean, by commenting on this topic, you’re just bringing it up higher on the list of topics. If you think it’s redundant, flag it and move on.
I think the number of topics on this subject reflect that there are many people who feel strongly about it. I know I do! Would love to have a toggle myself.
It also has 38 votes despite there being 37 voters
Destiny 2 used to cost 60$ - 70$ and they went F2P. The only compensation was a cosmetic item or two if I recall. 343 is by no means locked into the current state of monetization.
I’m just saying who is going to spend money on cosmetics if people can just turn them off?
That’s why all cosmetics should match the established art style, and if they don’t match it then they should have enough care and effort put into them so that they do fit the established art style. A good example of that is Hayabusa. It pushes the limit, but it actually looks like spartan armor instead of just having cat ears, or Spiderman ham fisted into the game in typical Fortnight fashion.
If it wasn’t F2P that would be easier to adhere to. They need to appeal to as many tastes as possible to literally support the live service moving forward. So the broader they can be with that, the better. Within reason. I doubt we’ll see anything remotely close to Fortnite level cosmetics.
