Now for those of you who have seen a preview of the Halo: Tales from Slipspace story Dominion splinter it looks like the Cortana in Halo 5 is one of her -Yoink- rampant fragments. Knowing MC’s track record and his luck and promises there is a fair chance (I’m being optimistic here) that he will save this Cortana and doing so apparently sacrifice himself to do so. Now if you could pick any punishment for Cortana, not including death. What would it be? Mine would have Dr. Halsey lock her into one of those small tiny floor cleaning machines and have her clean a restroom on the Infinity until further notice.
Something similar to mendicant bias…locked away for many years with only one thought…atonement

Agree…
Playing the new CODs for alltime.
The naughty corner/step.
I would force get to simulate breakout in its current state or perhaps FFA on molten at least for the next ten years.
Make her invent the Tornado Gun.
There was a cartoon not to long ago in which a robot mech from the future and its female pilot get thrown to Earth of the past. The mech is damaged and the only way to fix it is to replace its head, the pilot seat with a car/truck. Anyway in one episode an intergalactic tyrant escapes from his digital prison. They beat him by sealing him in a childs ‘smurf’ like videogame. As the sreen fades to black the tyrant, as hes being accosted by very friendly orange smurfs demands to be put back in his old cell. This may be impossible to do to Cortana in Halo, but it would be funny as hell.
make her replace Palmer as the warzone announcer. not as a punishment, but because no one likes Palmer.
Upload her to windows Ten, windows phones, and xbox ones and force her to answer dumb questions of people all over the world.

She is the worst halo character ever

That’s more than a bit too harsh
Death is probably the safest option to deal with Cortana now.

Death would be the safest option, but (unless there is a guarantied place in hell for rampant A.I.)to me it would be like she was getting off. Even when she dies there will still be millions having to cope with the death of their friends, neighbors and loved ones.
