Nearly every Halo game Cortana has been featured in she gets a new look, from Halo 1-5 she looked more and more human whilst keeping that A.I look. she turned from all sorts of blues and purples, (however I think she’s keeping the blue). hell she even grew this…weird neck coller in Halo 5. There’s no doubt she’ll look different in Halo: Infinite, but I feel that she’ll somewhat keep some of her Halo 5 key features like her hair. I’d love to hear what you’ll imagine what Cortana would look like in Halo: Infinite. That’s IF we’ll see her.

She should stay the same from halo 5 and I like her h2a design

I like the H2A design too, they got many models perfect in that remaster. If I had to guess her Halo Infinite model, it’d either be more like her older model like Chief, or some sort of badass commander look, slightly similar to her Halo 5 model.
I honestly I hope the Halo 5 design returns because it makes her look like a villain with all her fancy tech and the mantle symbol on her chest. Plus it was my favorite design for her.
I find it funny that Halo games have steered away from the bare human figure AI into exclusively clothes (as far as I’m aware, Roland, Halo Wars AI, and new Cortana). I’d prefer H6 Cortana or whatever AI appears to go back to the old design philosophy. She isn’t a physical being and showing her personification without clothing helps distinguish her as something different. She isn’t trying to fit the human mold and go along with all of our ways. She can stand with confidence in the naked truth of who she is? It’s not like I’m asking for -Yoink!- or anything, but we all agree that our clothes are not a part of our being. If I got digitized I would expect it to be in a naked manner, why would these temporary wrappings go with me?
A big point where I think the H4 and 5 design goes wrong is that it doesn’t have blank space in her model. It makes it more like an uncomfortable amount of nudity, rather than a digital being with a rough female outline. Give Cortana her holes back lol. The holes in a way act like clothes but in a uniquely digital being way.

My favourite Cortana is still the Halo Reach Cortana (Halo 3 model with better lighting and traditional Cortana colouring). I’d like to see an updated version of Cortana’s Halo 3/Reach model, but more realistic and I guess with her weird Halo 5 “clothing” that she ends the game wearing.
H2A is probably my favorite Cortana design. I really like the floating data streams; and her face model actually looks like a younger version of Halsey.
Don’t mean to sound like I hate the art style of halo 5 because I don’t, but I hated Cortana’s looks in that game. I don’t think the whole commander outfit works for her at all. It’s just unnatural, and we’re talking about an Artifical Intelligence here.
In the opening scene with Halsey she looked off as well- when she gives that cutsie little smile at Halsey it just made me cringe.
Assuming she’s still evil and all, I think it would be an appropriate conclusion to believe she’ll still be wearing some variant of her “armor” from Halo 5.
I kind of wasn’t a fan of her design in h4,5. Mainly hoping they redesign her to look more like her classic art style but not sure they could do that right due to the lore changes that changed her unless she has fragments left over leading to her having classic Cortana meeting the modern Cortana.
I liked her H4 design the most. I didn’t care that they gave her clothing in H5, but they changed her face. She looks way different than her face in H4, and looks like an uggo now.
H4 Cortana was -Yoink!- as hell! But they changed her too much, it just wasn’t her anymore. H2A did it best imho, a real modern update while staying true to the source. That’s how you do it! Even though I miss the bluish purple from H2 and Reach. Purple also goes better with green!
