So, I was playing through the Halo 4 campaign a second time for the Mark VI armor when I noticed something about Cortana’s hand right before her “death.” The palm of her hand appears, to me at least, to change to a fleshy color as she touches Master Chief’s chest plate. Now, at first I thought it was probably a reflection, but if she is just a projection of light then she can’t have color reflected on her (or at least to my knowledge).
