What does everyone think of Cortana now that the Halo bulletin is up?
IMO: She looks more human than an AI. Both her hair and facial features give her more of a human look.

I saw this image in this thread (SquattingTurtle) and really noticed something. Other than the fact that cortana has changed a lot over the years (more notably from Halo 1 to Halo 2) the most recent Cortana looks like a modern day Halo CE Cortana with more accents on her facial features. Other than the fact you can’t really see Cortana’s chest in Halo CE, their facial features resemble each other in my opinion.
Honestly. I’m not a fan of it at all. I’m still going to wait to see the game in action before I decide but I’ll just add that to the long list of things I’m not liking at the moment.
isnt the concept art of cortana only gameinformers image of her and not 343i offical art work?, so then this isnt halo 4’s cortanas offical look, or did 343i actually make that artwork?
Cortana could go through rampancy and become metastable (in fact she might already be metastable). There are four stages of rampancy:Sadness,Anger,Jealousy, and (in theory) meta stability. The first stage is pretty much self-explanatory. In the second stage, Anger, the AI begins to hate everything around it and will try to enact revenge and free itself from programming constraints. In the third stage, the AI will seek to grow and develop as a person. In the theoretical fourth stage, the AI can be said to be a true “person”. The only two AIs who may have reached metastability are 05-032 Mendicant Bias and Cortana.
Cotana is an AI…I don’t think I’ve read all the books/stuff; but I’d guess that she chooses her holographic representation. Maybe she got bored chilling on that ship for a few years and decided to have a belly button to help distract her.
