So I think that it’s fairly unlikely that Cortana will die in halo 4 because of this screenshot:
On the control panel on the right-hand side, It slearly says; Last contact with land: 3 years, 4 months, (Can’t see the number of days) but this means that Cortana has at LEAST 8 months. Unless Halo 4 has an insanely long story, I don’t think Cortana will die in Halo 4. What do you think?

This theory makes no sense. Cortana, when she was in high charity, was driven nearly rampant by gravemind. This shows a lot by her attitude in halo 3, as it clearly changed from halo 2.
Now, frankie stated that they will focus more on her, and mentioned her life span and rampancy. So, it is possible that gravemind accelrated the rate of rampancy, and cortana may already be rampant. That being said, she may have gone through rampancy while talking to gravemind, and has likely since become the stage that mendicant bais was in, after rampancy. Now, if this is possible, it would explain her long life span and it would explain hr attitude.
The picture you gae however does not show anything at all, as no matter what she is alredy past eight years of existance, and has likely passed through rampancy.

THATS the word i was looking for… i just used after rampancy in my post 
most of us know she wont die in halo 4 if anything is going to happen it will be halo 6

She probably and hopefully won’t die in Halo 4.
But it may be possible that in Halo 5 or 6 it’ll be cleared up more.

we will all be sad if MC OR CORTANA,or BOTH will die at the end of the series, because i want halo to last another 10 years after this

I hope this game has at least as much death as Halo CE. In Halo CE one of the defining moments was Master Chief escaping alone. Losing Jenkins, Keyes, and then Foehammer.

No the Shield World in Halo 4 is called Requiem. The one that Halesy was trapped on was Onyx.
Besides which the Onyx shield world was merely a massive defensive system to protect the Hyperspace portal to the Dyson Sphere the Forerunners moved from Real Space into Hyperspace.
At the end of Glassland which takes places sometime during the 4 years the MC is drifting in the wreckage of the Foreward Unto Dawn the HURAGOK on the Dyson Sphere moved into Real Space. Halsey was arrested and then then used as a prisoner workforce to incorporate into Infinity the Forerunner Technology gleaned from the Dyson Sphere along with HURAGOK that came to be onboard Infinity to make these upgrades. That is why Halsey was escorted back to Infinity post the MC’s appearance during the Spartan OPS period of the reduction of the loose enemy combatants on Requiem.
It is to be noted that a Freemon Dyson Dyson Sphere is a huge sphere the size of the Earths orbital diameter of 184,000,000 miles across or 92,000,00 miles in diameter with a full sized normal star at its center. This Forerunner Artifact dwarfs anything found so far and is likely the largest structure ever built. It would be have the equivailent surface area of billions of Earths.
