I wouldn’t say ‘girlfriend’. There hasn’t been a single point in the entire Halo series that Cortana has not had total control over the Master Chief. She can’t handle the fact that the Chief is no longer her weapon to be used as her personal weapon to do as she pleases. Blue Team saved him from Cortana’s clutches, thank god.
I bet she kills halsey with her own ARM.

It is obvious Halsey and Cortana will become polar opposites and provide a point of contention for the Master Chief in the future Halo games.
Halsey is like the Chief’s mother, Cortana is like the girl we all fell for in highschool but dictated we were unworthy of because we wouldn’t treat her like a goddess and do whatever she demanded of us, and then our mother’s told us we were better than. Point. Blank. -Yoink-. Trigger.
I feel like Cortana is just a blue human now. Her body looks like its actually physically made of something now even though she’s an AI.
I think an AI like Cortana would do an excellent job with the Mantle. Also I feel Halo 4 -Yoink- Del Rio deserves to be exonerated as he was right to wish to Kill Cortana.

Well AI can have physical bodies. If anything it makes her more threatening and horrifying.
