This is just a theory. If not a leak because it comes from the E3 trailer.
We’ve all seen the blue Prometheans. I believe that they are under the control of Cortana. Think about it. We see them right before Cortana goes crazy and tells every one that she will not let them leave he planet.
The question now is. Does she use these Prometheans to help us or to kill us? And could Halo 4 be the game to turn Cortana into a sworn enemy?

Simpel?? call me stupid, but that was not something i had expected, well on the other hand, she was able to easily get into covie battle ships and forrunner intherior computers, so the possibilty is certeinly there.

Cortana has forerunner info stored in here form the first Halo ring. Not to mention with the change in the cannon caused by Halo Reach, she could very well be based off of Forerunner tech.

It was the same thing when Halo 2 ended. We don’t know what is going on with cortana, but my money is on cortana is going to need some major help and the MC’s humanity and best friend arguably is going to be tested by it. Good theory OP, but I doubt it.
