Hey guys, we noticed something while doing a playthrough… i don’t know if anyone else has seen it or if it’s 100% legit, but I swear it’s her.

At 1:54
During that particular shot you notice the ‘lightning’ takes a form for a second, which resembles Cortana. Any thoughts? Could be a possible explanation as to why possible spoiler the memory from 6 months prior got back there…
The “Hologram” does have breasts though which is why you could think that it is cortana, It could be or it could be some random female
Nice find, but I don’t think it has anything to do with the plot. Just a mere easter egg.

well, she was inside the Didacts ship, she could have, in her rampancy, been unable to stop downloading parts of or all of the data gathered from the composer.

Honestly, I don’t think that looks distinctly like Cortana in anyway. It looks just as much like Cortana as any other female with breasts.

It could be cortana cuz chief was fighting above earth with the didact where cortana was also so she could see earth… being an A.I that can transport herself to any location its possible.

Sounds likely.
But couldn’t it be that Cortana is now part of the Librarian and her AI “army” so to speak? After all, Librarian did have some alone time with Cortana, enough to make a copy/back up of her. And it doesn’t seem too unlikely Cortana will show up in the later games in such a way. Or at least, to me it doesnt sound unlikely.
But that doesn’t neccecarily mean THIS is Cortana of course.

She can’t magically transport herself to any location. She work within a computer network, but only within that network. These were memories of a person, a human, being composed during the New Phoenix incident.

it can be cuz the composer BEAMED to earth and she was already gone by the time. so it could be possible cuz she is DATA now so she could be in there. i think its still possible…
It would be nice if we got Cortana back for the Chief , or at least some other AI. That way they would be up too their old shenanigans in Halo 5.

No she can’t teleport herself but she can monitor incoming data like she did on Ivanoff Station…
Cortana: I monitored the data pulse. I could hear them…what was left of them.
In addition to hearing them, while she’s in the Didact’s ship systems she might have gotten a look at some of their memories too.
I’m not saying it is Cortana because personally I would find that to be a bit of a stretch, but I don’t think it’s totally out of the realm of possibility. I wouldn’t mind it though personally, a reborn Cortana with an orange glow? Sounds cool.
