If you haven’t played through the campaign yet. turn off your internet and do it now.
I’m glad that Cortana survived halo 4, however. In halo 6. Could you please bring her down from her power trip and give us our Cortana back! Something that makes sense preferably.

Personally, I hope she is torn apart in 6.
Realistically, it’ll be the Chief who takes her down, and it’ll be a very emotionally and well done moment. Can’t wait.

Cortana is clearly going to not be a helpful friend anymore. I am excited that she is going to be the villain.
I think it fits her character, think about it she is a computer version of Halsey’s base personality. She is willing to sacrifice everything for peace in her mind, and thus everyone will suffer subjugation and stagnation for “peace” it also makes sense since for months or so she has only had the Warden Eternal to talk to along with with access to the Domain. And let’s face it the Warden Eternal is pretty blunt with his hatred of Humanity and organic life.
These new turn of events with Cortana are exciting and I’m looking forward to seeing how it plays out. I felt tugging on my heart strings at first and then a disconnection. That Cortana is not my Cortana.

Agreed. I think that the real Cortana did die in Halo 4 and this is just some surviving rampant personality.

Not a power trip, she’s taking the mantle of responsibility. Humanity is threatening that.

Really hope they do because i cant stand seeing cortana like this!
Thought It was an amazing campaign! Shocked at the ending…but wow, GREAT job on H5! I love the novels and was so glad to see some of it play out in the game! This was a solid for the fans! The amount of effort put into it is humbling…grateful…tx!
Wonder how lasky and chief feel now when they (mainly chief) didn’t let cortana get decommissioned in halo 4 (when del Rio ordered lasky in that cut scene, when cortana had that rampant moment).
I personally don’t think she’s on a power trip, she’s become corrupted due to rampancy from 4 and the Domain simply stopped the rampancy from being any worse but not cure her. Obviously she’s going to be killed in 6, but the question that most people are asking still is if the Chief will die in the process, which is pretty likely given Locke’s introduction into the series. A thing that irks me is the key you get at the end of 4’s Spartan Ops missions. What is it and when are we finding out its relevance? I was hoping for closure on that in 5.
