Anybody else think that Cortana might become an enemy in halo 4?
Like the ancient evil changes her and makes her the leader of the Prometheans?
It might turn out like star craft when Kerrigan got infected and became the leader of the swarm.

Yes, this should happen. She’s sort of fulfilled her role in Halo. It would be awesome to change that and make her an antagonist for Chief in this Trilogy.
It’s fully possible, but I still doubt that this will happen. Cortana has always been an ally, so I’m not sure 343i will be willing to corrupt her.

She can’t be the leader of the Prometheans though, that’s the Didact’s role.

Well either way she goes rogue, I’m happy. She’ll probably ally with the Didact.

Just like Halo 2’s ending, we did not know what would happen with cortana. Now, the same aspect is being presented, ESPECIALLY when we don’t know what Cortana may be changed into with rampancy or any upgrades or changes which will be needed.
Just like Halo 2 though, my money is on her pulling through and giving anyone who doubts her strength a nice wake-up call. She is chief’s humanity and that alone makes her just as much a badass as Chief…
Cortana knows John inside out, knows his tactics and weaknesses. She would make a great enemy.
Maybe in Halo 6 she could be turned normal again. Then John and her reunite again and battle the ancient evil.
I was kind of hoping that within Requiem, they discover and decode technology that will elongate Cortana’s lifespan.
