Unless 343 is still finishing Cortana, I must say that she looks almost too real this time around. Where’s the flickering blue lights? the see-through form? and why does her -Yoink- and thighs look so saggy XD

I think the reason why we cant see through her is because of rampancy.

Affects and reflects her personality and whats happening to her.
Some change to do with the canon that nobody knows about.
Problem?
I had concerns over her appearance too. Unfortunately I was labelled a ‘troll’ for thinking as such.
Upon some extended thought however, I’ve grown to accept the changes. I’m sure once we hear Jen Taylor again, Cortana’s physical appearance won’t be much of a problem.

I could have swore that Halo 4 is a preview tech demo for next gen consoles.
That’s a bit of a stretch but Reach looked good but this…this game blows out of the water already. Same console too, can’t forget that either. Scary.
On the bright side for those who don’t like the new look: At least Jen Taylor is back :).

The Original Poster was talking about how Cortana looks real IN-UNIVERSE! Meaning, she looks like any other character. She doesn’t really look like an A.I. She looks like a little blue human.
I believe Cortana should still be a little bit see through. I don’t like how she has a solid character model. But, if there’s a story behind it all, I wouldn’t mind as much.

First grunts…now Cortana…sounds pretty legit.
People forget that most things in older Halo games look the way they do because Halo was never to good with graphics. Armours looked simple because they didn’t the graphical capabilities on the older Halo Engine.
The engine has had a clear boost and I think the artistic talent is much more prominent in 343i than Bungie in terms of realism. That’s why the armour look a lot more detailed, and other assets such as Cortana and maps look so much more detailed.
