Did anyone else get that feeling at the end of Halo 5: Guardians?
Both were created for good.
Both eventually questioned their creators.
Both try to kill their creators.
Both can access any network in their known universes (Ultron through the internet, Cortana through the Forerunner network).
Am I missing anything? Lol.
Well if we’re pulling such broad comparisons, anything could be anything. Though Cortana doesn’t want to kill her creators, she wants to enforce a -Yoink- peace through the threat of death. Which of course will cause death galore, but she’s insane so she has no idea.
you are forgetting the most important part…
Ultrons greatest enemy was a guy in a suit of powered armor…
and now so is cortanas.
you shouldn’t have your title as that, might spoil surprises for other gamers
I got more of a Mass Effect vibe from this game than an Avengers: Age of Ultron one. “The created will always rebel against their creators.” and so on.
What I got from it is a rehashed terminator story. Cortana is sky net pretty much. Wanting to wipe out all life. Chief as the savior t-800.

“Cortana is a lot like…(End Game Spoilers)”.
The Warden seemed more like Ultron to me, what with all the extra bodies he commands.

He seemed more like Meta Cooler to me since he has a tenancy to instant transmission around and fire death beams and death balls.

I was thinking more along the lines of Skynet
She’s interesting. She wants to bring peace to the galaxy. As humans, we may see that as infringing on our lives but what about all the lives we infringe on? Especially AIs like Cortana who have the intelligence to know they’re veing screwed with.

Change the title, people aren’t stupid
I honestly went the entire game hoping she would say “There are no strings on me” I was thinking this from the first time I heard her plan. We honestly just played Age of Ultron in the order of crazy to craziest.

Fair enough. You could have just gone with something like “Halo 5 villain reminds me of Ultron” or something to that effect. Saying Cortana in the title should have been an obvious no-no
I personally think that the Warden Eternal is the former Didact, and that he’s manipulating Cortana. Both quoted the Didact verbatim, and the Warden has a distinctive dislike of humanity.
