I’ve been seeing a few people, at least on the gaf boards, complain that cortana is over sexualized now. This is a tad irritating to me since she’s always been “naked”. The difference is now graphics have advanced to the point where the model is more true to life. When I saw the new cortana, my first thought was “hey nice hips”. I didn’t feel uncomfortable or -Yoink!- or whatever. My point is, she’s obviously not an actual “naked” girl. Please don’t coppout. I’ve always loved the way AI is handled in the halo universe.

Personally I agree with you.
I’ve never once seen Cortana as overly-sexualized either. I’ve always seen her nakedness as a symbol of strength and confidence, to show that she can command a room without caring what people think of her as long as she gets their attention. Hell, we all know it works. XD

yeah her figure is more defined, but I think the bigger difference is that in the earlier games like halo 1 she just kinda stood in place like a stiff figure, but as the games have progressed they’ve made her act more human like, moving around and laying down etc. Before when she behaved more inhuman, she didn’t seem sexualized even though she was ‘naked’.
At least that’s my opinion.

My Opinion: Shes been like this the last ten years, the graphics improved a little and the lines are more sharp. No reason to throw a hissy fit.

What always amused me is how attached the master chief is to her. She’s always seemed like a helpful tool to me, but that’s about it. And I always get the notion that the chief is a little crazy for being so attached to her. Like an anti-social person who has conversations with their pet or something.

I get the feeling Cortana feels the same as well.
No, I don’t think she’s “overly sexualized”. Her character model is fine right now. Whenever I think of Cortana, I don’t exactly think of a nude woman because well, she is a video-game character, an AI, and she’s a colour of blue that doesn’t really highlight her features.
If 343 make Cortana look like a character such as Lollipop Chainsaw, I’m abandoning Halo.

Well chief’s friends have a habit of dying and he lives in side a huge suit of armor he never takes off, so I’m not really surprised that he became attached to the little blue lady that’s in his helmet all the time.
Hmm… That might explain the Partial Nudity thing on rating below.
